Leadership Essentials: Changing Hearts to Change the Workplace

NEW DATE:
2nd Thursday of the month
Thursday, April 8, 2010
12 noon–1:30 pm

NEW LOCATION:
Levine Museum of the New South
200 E. Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC  28202*

Today’s work place is full change, uncertainty, and chaos. It is requiring people to do more with less and maximizing the skill sets of everyone. With that thought in mind, it is critical that progressive organizations understand they must have leaders at every level of the business. Associations and organizations must be willing to invest in developing their people potential because it is going to require teamwork to grow and thrive, not just survive during these challenging times.

What are the things currently in place that allow your employees' leadership skills to blossom? Are employees empowered to make decisions or is micro-management the recognized practice? What are the skill sets that make great leaders? What are your blind spots and biases that impact how you lead? How do you go about developing leaders at every level of the organization? What are the levels of leadership? What is your leadership style?

This interactive workshop will address key strategies and principles that will help you develop more of your leadership skills while helping others to develop their skills also.
